New(for me) AR-15.

It is an old Palmetto Armory receiver with what appears to be early Colt parts....

Bonus was the mags.

One 30 round and twelve 20 round mags....all but one being Colt.

Got it for $550.

Colt upper? Looks good. Many folks prefer the SP-1 configuration...good score. Original uppers alone are bringing ~$500.

I believe it is....it actually seems to be pre 1970.

M4 stocks seem cool but I wonder if they can take the hit when you punch the ground as you drop?

I used to use them hard to take pressure off the knees during impact on a drive for cover.

Anyone have insite on this from Boot Camp?
